Synopsis
Join ICEBEAR as she heads out from Bergen, Norway across the North Sea to Scotland’s beautiful Shetland Islands. After a brief stop, it will be time to cast-off and point the bow southeast returning to Scandinavia and Sweden’s sailing capital, Marstrand.

Summer in the North Sea is the peak sailing time, but expect cooler temperatures, moisture, variable conditions with a chance of heavy weather!
Tentative Itinerary
July 12: Join ICEBEAR in Bergen, Norway at 17:00. Dinner with the group either ashore or onboard.
July 13: All-day safety briefing & boat orientation
July 14: Departure! (Weather dependent)
July 22: Depart ICEBEAR in Marstrand, Sweden by 12:00 Noon
Travel Logistics
Fly into Bergen Flesland Airport (BGO) and meet the boat (marina TBD).
Fly out of Gothenburg-Landvetter Airport (GOT) located about 68 km from Marstrand.
How to Join
To register, complete the Offshore Passage Registration by clicking the 'Sign Up' button above, or at the bottom of the page. You'll be asked to complete the form - make sure you hit submit. Indicate '2022: Bergen - Shetland - Marstrand' as your preferred passage.
Once we receive your registration, you'll be sent an invoice for 50% of the balance, due immediately. The final 50% of the balance will be due 60 days prior to the passage date. Terms and conditions are in the registration form, and you'll be asked to agree to them before submitting your deposit. Please read them carefully.
