Synopsis
Join us in Lagos, Portugal where we’ll spend a day or two preparing ourselves and the boat for the passage: planning routes, briefing crew and watching the weather. Once we push-off we will use the northerly winds to cross the busy shipping lanes off the Straits of Gibraltar and then enjoy some blissful downwind sailing to the Canary Islands.
Previous trips on this route have provided champagne sailing in the soft Saharan winds with plenty of opportunity to watch dolphins and sight whales as the spinnaker pulls us southwest.
Note:
We now reserve two spots for women on all of our passages! Learn more here.
