Synopsis
Join ISBJØRN in her historic home port of Bergen, Norway and sail north along one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world, across the Arctic Circle, and tie up in the heart of Tromsø—"The Paris of the North".
This will be a masterclass in weather routing and strategy, as it is hard to predict what the conditions will be like at this time of year. And there are many options to choose from—we could do parts of the trip inshore, stopover on any of the many islands in the Norwegian Sea, swing by Scotland on the way, or cruise the Lofoten Archipelago. The options are endless, and with so many days at our disposal, we'll have time to be flexible.

The Route
Expected Weather Pattern
We could see some pretty heavy weather on this one, but we’ll always have the option to escape, should it be too bad. The strongest winds will most likely be from behind us. We could see freezing temperatures and snow. But as we say, there is no bad weather, only bad clothing! No need for shorts and sandals on this one.
