Welcome Woodwind fans to 59º North Sailing! I’ve long attributed my time working with Captain Jen and the Woodwind crew with the inspiration to pursue my own dreams in offshore sailing. Jen & I are sailing across the Atlantic together in February, and we have some openings on FALKEN on the two trips prior. Those passages, which skirt the coast of Africa in the warm Tradewinds, are shown below or click to see all open bunks on both boats in 2024. See you on the high seas!

All of 59º North's passages include two days of hands-on pre-sail safety, weather and navigation briefings. Once at-sea, the skipper and mate will set the watch rotation and all crew will be involved in all aspects of running the boat, from helming to sail trim to foredeck work to cooking in the galley. These are the real-deal ocean passages where the crew really get to sail the boat and learn all aspects of ocean sailing.
