Synopsis

**NEW PASSAGE** Join ICEBEAR in Mariehamn – the capital of Åland, a Nordic archipelago and territory of Finland. Sail south into the Baltic Sea and make a port call into the Swedish island of Gotland to explore one of our favorite Scandinavian ports – the ancient medieval city of Visby. We’ll sail offshore towards the southern end of Sweden, past Copenhagen, and make our way coastwise towards Marstrand on the western coast of Sweden.

Tentative Itinerary

• August 18: Join ICEBEAR in Mariehamn, Åland at 17:00. Dinner with the group either ashore or onboard.

• August 19: All-day safety briefing & boat orientation

• August 20: Departure! (Weather dependent)

• August 27: Depart ICEBEAR in Marstrand, Sweden by 12:00 Noon

Travel Logistics

• Fly into Mariehamn (MHQ) in Åland. Alternatively, you can fly into Stockholm’s international airport (ARN) and take the ferry to Mariehamn from downtown Stockholm.

• Fly out of Gothenburg-Landvetter Airport (GOT) located about 68 km from Marstrand (or take the train to Stockholm and fly out from Stockholm’s international airport (ARN) ).

How to Join

To register, complete the Offshore Passage Registration by clicking the 'Sign Up' button above, or at the bottom of the page. You'll be asked to complete the form - make sure you hit submit. Indicate '2022: Åland - Marstrand' as your preferred passage. 

Once we receive your registration, you'll be sent an invoice for 50% of the balance, due immediately. The final 50% of the balance will be due 60 days prior to the passage date. Terms and conditions are in the registration form, and you'll be asked to agree to them before submitting your deposit. Please read them carefully.
