Synopsis
ISBJØRN’s last scheduled passage of 2023 will bring us to Vindö on the stunning West Coast of Sweden. Set sail from Kinsale where weather and timing will determine our route towards Scandinavia. Either way, we will cross the North Sea before entering Skagerrak Strait and into the stunning Swedish archipelago. We’ll end our journey at the the famous Vindö Marin boatyard where ISBJØRN will spend some much earned time at the boatyard.

The Route
Expected Weather Pattern
By late September fall has fully descended on the British Isles and Scandinavia. Expect colder temperatures and heightened potential for heavy weather. The good news is this passage should be mostly downwind - the prevailing southwesterlies should propel us FAST to the north and east.
