9 // FALKEN: Hawaii – British Columbia // 2,500 Miles & 21 Days // $9,500 // 3 Available

$9,500 // 21 Days

Synopsis

Another big ocean passage, over 2,000 miles, as we continue north and around the North Pacific High to British Columbia. We’ll aim for Prince Rupert Sound, right on the Canadian border with Alaska. Temperatures will steadily drop as we leave the Trades and Tropics behind, but with luck we’ll be able to follow the High and have good sailing angles throughout.

NOTE

We now reserve two spots for women on all of our passages! Learn more here.

The Route

Expected Weather Pattern

This passage will be a challenging one weather-wise as we leave the tropics and try to keep the wind aft of the beam as we navigate the North Pacific High. This means we’ll sail almost due north and stay in the breeze before wrapping around the top of the high. It’ll get progressively colder with more variable weather as we head north.
